Why Shchuchin

Shchuchin District is a modern, dynamically developing region with a powerful production and export potential, which has great opportunities for the development of small business and entrepreneurship.
Most of the region's territory is located within the boundaries of the Lida Plain, the southern outskirts – within the boundaries of the Upper Neman Lowland. The surface of the region is flat-wavy, with sections of madder hills and wide swampy river valleys. The highest point of the region's territory is 196 m above sea level (near the village of Bolshoye Mozheikovo), the lowest mark is 109 m (Neman's edge) in the south of the region. The district borders in the north with the Republic of Lithuania, in the west with Grodno, in the east and south with the Voronovsky, Lida, Dyatlovsky and Mostovsky districts of the Grodno region.

Favorable geographical location on the border of the two largest economic unions, modern developed engineering and transport infrastructure, positive economic development of the territory, competitive tax climate and special preferential treatment are factors that determine the interest of investors in the creation of modern production facilities in the Shchuchin region.
The most important indicator of economic activity is the activity to attract investment. In 2020, investments in fixed assets in the amount of about 103 million rubles were attracted for the development of the district's economy.
The strategic goal of the investment policy of the Shchuchinsky District is to create favorable conditions for the implementation of effective investment activities that ensure sustainable socio-economic growth.
Thanks to the constructive interaction of the executive and legislative branches of government, the necessary regulatory and legal framework has been created, there are organizational prerequisites for the implementation of investment projects with the involvement of investors. Also, one of the strong competitive advantages of the district is the desire of the local authorities for mutually beneficial cooperation with the foreign business community.
